HANNA PERDOMO ALTAMIRANDA

Hi! I'm Hanna, and I want to tell you a little bit about myself...

My story

From childhood, she found her first love in rhythmic gymnastics. Among hoops, ribbons, and music, she learned that elegance is born from effort. As an athlete, she understood that each fall on the mat is merely the impetus for a higher leap. That discipline guides her today as an entrepreneur and social leader.
Their story is born from love and pain. When her sister, Yadira Perdomo Altamiranda, was in tenth grade, she was bullied: classmates threw her from a third-story window, leaving her wheelchair-bound for life. This event scarred the entire family. Hanna also experienced bullying at age seven, at the same school. They would lock her in the bathroom and hide her shoes. It was horrific. But together, with faith and hope, they chose the path of forgiveness. They healed their wounds and grew closer as a family.

Hanna Perdomo Altamiranda is a graduate in Modern Languages Translation. Her passion for languages—English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole—has become a bridge to service. Through the Unidos Seremos Escuchados Foundation, she lovingly teaches those who have lost their voice, restoring their confidence to express themselves without fear.
Raised in a loving Catholic home, Hanna learned that helping others is a mission. That's why her greatest wish is that no child suffers the bullying she and her sister endured.
Today, Hanna transforms pain into purpose. Resilient by nature, she creates projects to raise awareness of the rights of people with disabilities and promote a culture of respect. A lover of reading, she finds wisdom in books, which she then translates into action for her community.
Hanna not only dreams of a fairer world: she builds it day by day with the discipline of a gymnast, the heart of a translator, and a soul dedicated to serving others.
Life is rhythm, sometimes you fall, but you can always dance again, and it's okay to forgive in order to heal with love and faith.
Hanna Perdomo Altamiranda is a sweet graduate in Modern Languages and a professional translator, who with her mastery of four languages (Spanish, English, Portuguese and Creole) has become the bridge that allows the foundation's message to reach different corners of the world.
Her story with the USE Foundation is a bond of pure love from its very roots. At just 12 years old, driven by a tender and boundless sisterly love, she was one of the founders and initiators of the foundation, giving it its first major digital boost: enthusiastically launching the first Fan Page that would connect hearts with their cause. At such a young age, Hanna faced extremely difficult situations due to the delicate health relapses of her beloved sister Yadira. However, exhaustion never dimmed her light; she never abandoned her sister, remaining her sweetest and most steadfast support in every battle and every victory.
The family has always been united, and thanks to that beautiful family bond, their unwavering faith, the power of forgiveness, and boundless love, Hanna found the strength and comfort to overcome the darkest moments, forging an admirable resilience that culminated in the successful completion of her professional career. Today, with her tender human sensitivity, her knowledge, and her wonderful life experience, Hanna is one of the foundation's leaders, eager to expand this legacy of love. Her work is a beautiful gift, bringing tools for mental health, forgiveness, and reconciliation to more young people, businesses, and communities globally, reminding us that when a family unites with its heart, it can transform the entire world.
