Recently , Yadira was on the verge of leaving us forever, but her faith opened the door to a new miracle in which God once again gave her a second chance. And although her short journey has been full of difficult challenges, what was once a tragedy for her and her family has now become a blessing for her home; she is alive, and she has recovered from her illness.
Having suffered wounds while forgiving her attackers, she is dedicated to her studies and, with strength and faith, has overcome unimaginable obstacles. Although she couldn't finish high school in a traditional classroom setting, she didn't remain defeated nor did she resign herself to letting her dreams fade away.

Unfortunately, her health deteriorated and she had to travel to the United States to undergo another operation using cutting-edge technology; after ten surgeries, hope emerged as she was able to take walking steps, earning her the nickname "the bionic woman," a cure for disability in the world.
For eight long years, she was confined to her wheelchair; today she can attest to this other beautiful miracle of the Lord: to enjoy a peaceful tranquility that surpasses all understanding, and thus transmit, illuminate, and teach children, young people, families, and people in general the path to forgiveness.
During his recovery, he alternates rigorous therapy with lectures in schools and colleges, to steer children away from violence and bullying, reaching hundreds of schools throughout Colombia. It is with this purpose that he established his foundation: USE, Unidos Seremos Escuchados (United We Will Be Heard), as he wishes to extend his message of love, dialogue, and tolerance to all people and institutions that require it, especially classrooms and homes; but also to convince all of humanity, especially children, that every challenge and purpose, no matter how great, can be achieved by putting all your will and effort into it and never giving up.
She is currently studying "Psychology" because she wants to deepen her understanding of the mental health of Colombians, the influence of violence in classrooms, homes and the community, but in particular of "School Bullying" since it has generally been addressed from its consequences but not from its possible causes.

In terms of development, character is not shaped in educational institutions but at home with much love, dialogue, and forgiveness among themselves.
Thanks to her faith in God, her parents and siblings have supported Yadira not only in her rehabilitation process but also in her foundation's project, (USE) Unidos Seremos Escuchados (United We Will Be Heard), so that she can continue this beautiful work of projecting a future without so much school and domestic violence.

This message has been universal.
For young people, businesses, prisons, schools, parents, and universities in Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Peru; places where God has given her the opportunity to reach and transform minds and rescue lost hearts with her life testimony to those who have not yet been able to forgive; she was also a pioneer in the Congress of the Republic of Colombia, where Law 1616 on Mental Health and Law 1620 on School Mitigation were created as a result of what happened.
A miracle come true
What exciting news, full of hope! And inspiration for many. December 2024.
A miracle of God and the technological science of the doctors at UCLA hospital.
After an initial surgery that improved my quality of life, but which was lost due to spinal cord malpractice in Colombia, I never lost faith or hope of having another opportunity to receive this technology. I underwent this cutting-edge surgery with great hope, in which two neurostimulators—Tesla and Medtronid—were implanted in my spinal cord. With two cell phones, two Bluetooth controllers, and satellite monitoring, I have been able to regain a better quality of life.
This scientific advance has allowed me to achieve a 60% lifespan in my implants, despite being a young electronics engineer.
Although managing the neurostimulators has been a challenge, today I am alive thanks to this miracle of life.
Now more challenges are coming in my life: getting out of the wheelchair and achieving a dignified gait.
Electronic legs for this blessed young woman.
The UCLA hospital has designed the first electric legs that will allow me to walk without spinal pain. Another miracle to tell and a challenge for those who have lost faith in God, proving that there is indeed a cure for disability.
It's a very powerful and moving testimony. Remember that we are an inspiration to many.
Let us not lose faith or hope.
